Citadel 25mm C47 Chaos Ratmen (Skaven) - Gnawdoom and Citadel C22 Creatures - Rat pack

This was the best of the range for me. I made the base with Woodflex polyfilla, plastikard and a rat swarm from the C22 Creatures range.

Sculpted by Jes Goodwin, this miniature lived in the cabinets of GW Sheffield and GW Hammersmith for a time.

Citadel 25mm C47 Chaos Ratmen (Skaven) - Glave

Glave was from the early Skaven releases. His pal here is an AD&D Giant Rat .

He and his pals malingered in the cabinets of GW Sheffield and GW Hammersmith, for a time.

Citadel 25mm C47 Chaos Ratmen (Skaven) - Ashish the Black

This was from the first metal release of Skaven. More of Jes Goodwin's fine input here I believe. These were really popular, and led to the major Warhammer race that they are today

Citadel 25mm PBS3 Warhamer Regiments: Skaven

This miniature is one of sixty that came in this boxed set.
There were ten sprues, Each with an Orc, Goblin, Skaven, Dwarf, Elf and Dark Elf.

This set was a little misguided in its direction. Who would buy it? If you're collecting one army, the best you'd get is for Orcs and goblins, which is only twenty miniatures. Of course, Warhammer wasn't as specialised back then, so you might field elves and dwarves together, but still a fail on most counts. Nice plastics for an early attempt and each one had two available heads and weapons.
