Always fun to paint, these tiny Greenskins fight from their very wonky pump wagon. The model came like this, but had the option of adding an extra deck, which made it better in Warhammer games. I am fairly sure I had the add on, but like many other models, it has disappeared :(

Laserburn project WIP13 - Justice Department vehicles

So I've finally finished these three vehicles. Here they are:

Of course they're technically 'not-quite-finished' as I should probably do some detail on the underside of the truck, and the air/raft needs its crew completing. They'll do for now though. Enjoy.

Laserburn project WIP09 - Another toy, more vehicle painting

Scouring the toy shelves of local shops recently netted discovery of this little beaut for a mere £3.50. Looking distinctly like a 15mm ground attack aerodyne, it's heading for the painting table forthwith.

It's a Matchbox sky busters 'Strato saucer'. I believe they are re-releasing it in green too, but no-doubt it will require a repaint.

I've done a bit more work on my other vehicles. As you probably saw, I had masked the side of the pat-wagon in the last post. I used a high pigment liquitex ink to darken the stripes, for a nice low contrast effect. I did similar for the Imperial warthog, using chocolate brown on khaki.

After this, I worked on some lighting effects for the pat-wagon

Laserburn project WIP06 - Judge pat-wagons

This year's Hot Wheels releases include this splendid vehicle, which they call 'The Vanster'. It's the wrong scale (1:64) to be a 15mm van, but with a bit of work, it can be a huge truck that the Justice dept can use as a Pat-wagon. These are some 'out of the box' shots, more later

15mm Laserburn Wagon

This is ancient. It's from the tabletop games Laserburn 15mm SF range. Painted probably around 1983. It's quite a lot smaller than the transporter as you'll see at the end.

 As I recall, this miniature could be assembled with one of three different drive systems. I have the grav drive version, I know there were wheeled and I think tracked versions.
