I think it will only be a matter of time before Forgeworld re-release all of these designs in updated form. Looks somewhat like a Thanatar siege-automata, no?

Ork Army #1 - Citadel 28mm RT204 Ork Dreadnought with RT206 expansion kit

From the very early days of Rogue Trader, comes this Ork Dreadnought, with the optional expansion to give four weapon points. The banner is made from the foil that seals a champagne bottle, and is painted freehand. Of course this is part of another project, 40k Orks - a very old-skool army indeed and nothing like the giant greenskins of today. He lived in the figure cabinet at Dalling Road, Hammersmith from 87-90.

I believe the heavy weapons versions were referred to as 'Furibundus pattern'.
Started when the model came out, but sadly not finished until 27 years later!

This model lived in the cabinet at 1 Dalling road for some time

The paint became scratched, so in came the repaint

I rebased it on a standard dreadnought-sized base

GOLDEN Extra coarse pumice gel and slate chips from a local flowerpot

The lettering was al done with a brush, back when I could see.

He cuts a fine figure, a dashing sort. He's obviously connected by the look of that shield.

This is a smart looking beast. I'm quite pleased with this, even after all these years. I'd probably add more detail were I to paint it today.

25mm Warhammer 40,000 SFD Robot - Unreleased

Made by Citadel Miniatures in 1988 or so, I thought this was another of the original SFD Imperial robots, but it would appear I'm mistaken.

A nice little model - he's about 25mm tall.

The metal was done with inks over bare whitemetal.

He's pretty small.

I picked this up because it was one of the robots in Shogun Warriors - a comic that appealed to the child in me. It's nowhere near finished, I just thought I'd add it as it's part of the collection.

I think it's fair to say these are fairly rare. This is one of the ones that doesn't break as easily as the others.
