Citadel 28mm RT403 Eldar Harlequin war robot

So the harlequins were assigned a war robot. They had to tinker. Now it's a whirling, jerking machine of death.

This was a real balancing act, but I wanted to avoid the 'samey' look that everyone had for this kit. The paintjob is from 1988, and it shows, but it's all freehand.
He lived with the other harlequins in the GW Hammersmith cabinet in Dalling road from 1988-90.

These miniatures were sculpted by Jes Goodwin and released in 1988.

I didn't want to go exclusively diamonds and checks for my harlequins, so this one is a little more understated, in what looks like a stillsuit from Dune. Painted in 1988, this figure formed part of the display at GW Hmmersmith

He's as gaudy as they come. All the diamonds and stripes are freehand. He lived in the cabinet at GW Hammersmith when he was painted - around 1988-90.

Another of the 1988 boxed set with sculpts by Jes Goodwin. Most of the diamonds and stripes are freehand, and were painted to showcase these models in the Hammersmith Games Workshop display cabinet.

I decided that white and bone would be the secondary colours on a black miniature. Painted in 1988, he adorned the shelf of the Games Workshop Hammersmith shop in Dalling Road.
