Most of these are magnetised now.

Each vessel sports red markings in a unique place on an otherwise standard livery

Approaching

A minor disadvantage of using magnets that were too weak. This can be resolved by using two magnets in a deeper hole, or doubling up on the base.

There are more ships as yet unpainted for this fleet, so watch this space...

Another "Counts as" model that fills in for battle cruiser sized ships, or simply as a freighter for protection missions etc.

Paintjob is very old, so forgive the daubing.

Probably one of the first ships I did for this fleet, and that paintjob is really showing its age. A repaint is probably in order, but it's going to have to do for now as I already have way too much to finish.

These are splendid models, and very light - which suits them for attaching to larger ships magnetically.
All of these models have been magnetised, as have the bases, which need a coat of black paint :)

Another large metal model repainted from my ebay haul.

The two hard points will eventually be magnetised so that escorts can use them.

I acquired most of these Citadel metal tau ships from eBay. Unfortunately some of them were glued right on to their bases - the others I mostly magnetised. I really should magnetise all the smaller ships at some point.

Another model created for me by the talented Oli Wigham. My paintjob isn't the best, but it serves its purpose.
