These took me a lot longer to complete than the first unit. I wanted to go with something other than spirals for the most part on these, and as usual the shields sort of dictated how the troops would look.
They are mainly Gripping Beast Dark Ages Warriors with parts from their Saxon Thegns box and some heads and javelins from Victrix' Greek Peltasts, javelinmen and slingers. All plaid and shields are freehand.
