Citadel 25mm FTD13 'The Dwarf with no name'

This miniature from 1981 was released as part of the Fantasy Tribe Dwarfs range, but was later released as (probably more logically) WF11 by RAFM. He is based on Clin't Eastwood's famous character from 'The good, the bad, and the ugly', and I took a few pointers from that when choosing his colour scheme. I finished him this week, 35 years after I bought him.

Citadel 28mm TSF18 Space Zoats - Slaarsh

I really like the reptilian centaur look of Zoats. These gorgeous Nick Bibby sculpts were released in 1987, but were not to be a lasting part of the 40k range.

Citadel 25mm C02 Wizards - Zlobe of Zloty/C18 Night Horrors - Kwasimodo

This is the pre-slotta 1982 version of the later released C18 Night Horrors 'Kwasimodo' in 1986.

He's looking pretty diseased, but still has time for trade.

The eagle-eyed among you might make out his name buried in the rocks on his frontal views.

Citadel 25mm GW Nottingham shop special - Robin Hood Dwarf

I traded one of my Sheffield Samurai for this little chap. These promotional miniatures were made for each of the shops in the chain at the time, though for some reason Hammersmith never had one made.
They were released in 1983 and given away to customers in their respective shops.
The Santa Dwarf from Chester was a later addition. You can see the others at http://www.collecting-citadel-miniatures.com/wiki/index.php/Store_Opening_Specials_-_Limited_Release

Citadel 28mm Rogue Trader Ogryn Champion/Hero

Jes Goodwin sculpted this first Ogryn release, from 1988. Although it never had a code, it would probably be RT508, as that was the release code for other imperial ogryns. I attempted to recreate a BRUTE! T-shirt on his torso. The ripper gun lost its barrel at some point, so it became a sawn-off ripper gun.

Citadel 25mm C46 Travelling players - Lute hero

One of the many additions to the Villagers and Townsfolk range were the travelling players. I didn't ike much of the range but I thought his one would make a nice bard character.

Citadel 25mm S44 Giant Android Law Enforcer (first version)

This model from the Spacefarers range was withdrawn, presumably because of his almost too remarkable resemblance to Judge Dredd. My model has lost the end of his gun.

You can see the replacement here.

Not so dreddlike
