One of the earliest rogue trader releases, this Ork now acts as a commander figure in my Ork Army. Also known as 'Space Ork Pirate'. He lived in GW Hammersmith cabinet at time of release.

Citadel 25mm Medievals - M11 and M17 Knight of the Lion Bar and Knight of the Double Decker
Having painted a medieval army I decided to give these a more fantasy feel for the cabinet in Games Workshop Sheffield back in the early eighties. These coats of arms are based on the wrappers of two UK chocolate bars. Unfortunately the knight of the double decker suffered a broken sword, which is not high on my repair list - it will get done someday.

Tony Yates 25mm Chaos Warriors
I have little detail on these miniatures. I know they were sold in the late seventies/early eighties, and that they were sculpted by Tony Yates. If any of my readers have more information, I'll be happy to update this post with it. They're from a period when miniatures were much smaller, these stand 25mm to the eyes, though the actual height is closer to 35mm.

Citadel 60mm FF23 Fighting Fantasy Vile Orc
Citadel's first foray into plastics wasn't a great success. The plastic was soft, greasy and difficult to work with. This was really a labour of love for me so that we could actually sell some (and it worked).
