Ral Partha ES72 White dragon/ 01-072 Cold drake

From the John Mitchell collection. One of Tom Meier's nicest sculpts, if you ask me. This model won me first prize in the large fantasy category at Northern Militaire 1983. He was on display in Games Workshop Sheffield in the early eighties.





The model has lost some paint over the years.

He's missing a foot, so it's been covered by vegetation



Unfortunately the glue on the left-hand wing gave way at this point, and I had none to hand so I couldn't take any further views. Another time maybe.

Citadel 25mm NB1 Great Spined dragon

From the John Mitchell collection. The tinfoil wings are getting a little ragged in places. Another superb Nick Bibby sculpt from 1984.












Signed (in Sindarin) by me, 1985.

The base is a natural rock with milliput additions.

Citadel 28mm BDD20 AD&D Green dragon - a.k.a. Blue dragon

From the John Mitchell collection. The base was constructed from milliput and a collection of small semi-precious stones and rhinestones.

From the collection of John Mitchell. The toadstools were a limited edition item that I picked up on a visit to the factory. Rhinestones for eyes.
