Hallowe'en special: Jack-o-bear lair

This was mostly created for a scenario in my DnD campaign this week, but a competition on the excellent Old School Miniatures group on Facebook spurred me on too.

The individual components are;

Decopatch pumpkin. This was 99p from my local art shop, the excellent Lawrence's. I liked the imperfections in the paper covering, suggesting roots and vines.

Asgard 25mm FM71 Bugbear a.k.a. Jack-o-bear (first version)

This is a real monster sized Jack-o-bear, and a pretty early sculpt from Asgard, I suspect one of Bryan Ansell's.

Look into my eyes!

Asgard 25mm DA85 Beowulf

Another early piece by Nick Bibby, this one bursting with a Dark Ages character. The original shield has disappeared in the mists of time, so it's been replaced with a Citadel plastic one which is a few years younger.

Unfortunately the glue on the left-hand wing gave way at this point, and I had none to hand so I couldn't take any further views. Another time maybe.
