Citadel 25mm The legend of Kremlo the Slann - Kremlo the Slann

The first of the Citadel 'Scenario packs' included this miniature, along with some Slann, some Norse and some slaves. It was featured in Compendium 1.

This was painted originally at time of release (1983) and had grey flesh. He sat on the figure cabinet shelf in GW Sheffield. I started to photograph him and realised I could do so much better, so back to the painting table he went.
Here, then, is my 2015 paintjob on this ancient miniature.

The only painting info given in the pack is that he has a bright blue spine, so I hinted at the beginning of that with bright blue behind his head.
