Citadel 25mm RR9 - Mudat's Half Orc Mercenaries

December 1984, and the boxed sets were coming thick and fast. You still got 8 troops and a random leader, musician or standard bearer in the box - meaning you had to buy three boxes if you wanted all three.

My box had the standard bearer in it, but I've always liked units of 10 for armies, so I supplemented it with a C10 Half Orc as a leader.

They were also advertised as 'Mudat's Mercenary Maniacs', but they're the same thing as these.

The majority of these were based in twos, using my thick card and woodflex polyfilla bases. Some of them never got that far, or have come off in the meantime.
