Tony Yates Crocodile Man
Back in the 80s, these miniatures could be found at conventions, though I have no idea whether it was Tony himself or one of his mates who sold them. Tony was a friend of the chaps at Asgard and Citadel (he did the art for Laserburn and concept work for Spacefarers).
