SAGA Welsh 4pt Starter Army

The basis of my Welsh SAGA forces are complete, one unit of levies, two of warriors and one of Hearthguard. My Warlord is still on the painting table.

The Army is made entirely from Gripping Beast plastic Dark Ages Warriors and Saxon Thegns, with parts from Victrix Greek peltasts, javelin men and slingers. They are based on 2p Coins and mounted on Warbases skirmish bases.

Enjoy, this project now moves onto second stage, forthcoming will be my Warlord, Priodaur unit 3, Teulu unit 2 and then two units of mounted Teulu, plus more terrain and battle reports.

The AD&D range often comprised three versions of a character - as novice, experienced and hero levels. This miniature is the 'experienced' version. Obviously a fan of Slaanesh.
