I traded one of my Sheffield Samurai for this little chap. These promotional miniatures were made for each of the shops in the chain at the time, though for some reason Hammersmith never had one made.
They were released in 1983 and given away to customers in their respective shops.
The Santa Dwarf from Chester was a later addition. You can see the others at http://www.collecting-citadel-miniatures.com/wiki/index.php/Store_Opening_Specials_-_Limited_Release

Citadel 28mm CH2 Chaos Warriors - The Greblord
This is my alter-ego's very own miniature, who has recently been masquerading as Hairy Growler, the Goliath in DnD. Of course.

SAGA Welsh Army project WIP#3 - Terrain - Stone circle and Cairn
Well every army needs something to fight over and terrain can be so boring. As I've mentioned in earlier WIP posts, this project is also to complement my Dark Ages DnD campaign, so these will be a part of that too. On to it.
Stone Circle
I picked this up at a wargames show. It's either from Magister Militum or the Square, or Black Cat, but none show a picture of their offering. I'm fairly sure that it's supposed to be for 15mm, but it works as a 28mm piece too.

Neolithic Cairn
Again, picked up at a wargames show. Probably from one of the three manufacturers mentioned above, but an Internet search didn't help. Perhaps a reader can enlighten us. A nice characterful piece. EDIT: Eric Ducreux has helpfully pointed out that it's from Ainsty - http://ainstycastings.co.uk/product_info.php/cPath/46/products_id/311/osCsid/360896fec175aaadf2bfdabbdf81f968
WIP on 4ground Saxon hovel
I still need to 'tame' the thatch with some PVA and water. I have a second one to make, so I'll do both thatches at the same time.

In the pipeline are the first unit of warriors and more terrain.

So here's the first completed unit.
They have been painted as wargames figures, not display paintjobs, so forgive the mould lines and inaccurate detail - however, as it's what I do, here are the individual figures;
