Citadel 28mm RTB06 Harlequins boxed set

These miniatures were sculpted by Jes Goodwin and released in 1988.
The usual suspects
I'm fairly sure I have a full set of 18, but I only ever finished seven of them. I've made separate posts for each - you can see more by clicking on these links

In action
These miniatures were painted for display in Games Workshop's Dalling Road shop, and lived there between 1988 and 1990.

The big boss. He was part of the display cabinet in Games Workshop Hammersmith from 1988-90. Patterns are freehand.

Some card suit iconography on the fist

Citadel 28mm RTB06 Harlequins: Trouper 17

I didn't want to go exclusively diamonds and checks for my harlequins, so this one is a little more understated, in what looks like a stillsuit from Dune. Painted in 1988, this figure formed part of the display at GW Hmmersmith

Citadel 28mm RTB06 Harlequins: Trouper 20

He's as gaudy as they come. All the diamonds and stripes are freehand. He lived in the cabinet at GW Hammersmith when he was painted - around 1988-90.

Citadel 28mm RTB06 Harlequins: Avatar 2

This chap likes his lace. He also likes his gargoyle mask and unleashing whirring death from his twin shuriken catapults. 1988 paintjob.
Ruff ruff

Polka dot-tastic
There's something stuck to his back. I don't know what it is.

Citadel 28mm RTB06 Harlequins: Avatar 3

Another of the 1988 boxed set with sculpts by Jes Goodwin. Most of the diamonds and stripes are freehand, and were painted to showcase these models in the Hammersmith Games Workshop display cabinet.
There's a fleur-de-lys thing going on

Citadel 28mm RTB06 Harlequins: Death Jester 1

I decided that white and bone would be the secondary colours on a black miniature. Painted in 1988, he adorned the shelf of the Games Workshop Hammersmith shop in Dalling Road.

Citadel 28mm RTB06 Harlequins: Trouper 13

She's got a lot going on. A fair few things I'd do differently were I to paint it now, but not bad for a 1988 paintjob. She was one of the display figures at GW Hammersmith around that time.
Weapons were painted with Tamiya clear green

Citadel 25mm GH1 Golden heroes - professor weird

Ew. Painted really just to get it out of the way, I hate his horrible anatomy and poor casting.
