Asgard 25mm DA45 Samurai

I think my very old paint job has probably covered a lot of the detail on this miniature. I believe it may be a Nick Bibby sculpt.

Minifigs 25mm SS38 Ghoul

Well in keeping with my 'warts and all' style, here's a really early paint job, and on a pretty dire model.
This ghoul was from the Sword and Sorcery range, loosely based on the Conan mythos.
Just in case I would want to repaint it at a later stage (which I would), I helpfully gave my crude daubings a thick coat of gloss varnish.
The face was my own addition

Asgard 25mm TR6 Trimote Overlord

A miniature from the late 70s, it's fairly crude but effective. My miniature lost his staff, so I've given him a Disruptor Mace instead.

Battlefleet Gothic: Tau fleet #2 - Forgeworld Emissary class cruisers

Lovely models. Each of the vessels in this class carries a unique identifier livery.
the right-hand vessel lost its conning tower :(

...and on makeshift magnetised bases

Crimson Death Space Marine Army #2 - Citadel 28mm RT7 DreadnoughtArmour - Las Cannon and twin bolters

I believe the heavy weapons versions were referred to as 'Furibundus pattern'.
Started when the model came out, but sadly not finished until 27 years later!
This model lived in the cabinet at 1 Dalling road for some time
The paint became scratched, so in came the repaint
I rebased it on a standard dreadnought-sized base
GOLDEN Extra coarse pumice gel and slate chips from a local flowerpot
The lettering was al done with a brush, back when I could see.

Citadel 25mm S44 Giant Android Law Enforcer (second version)

The replacement for the Dredd version still has some features which link it to Mega-City One, but they're not nearly as pronounced. This is also a much more recent paint job.
