Nurgle Army #7 - Citadel 28mm Plague Marines 08-14

More marines. Here they are
And individually:

08. 'Old Meredith'

He's one of the original chaos marines, one of the few that are actually suitable for a Nurgle force. He's fairly much standard, but I gave him a later model backpack to make him different

09. 'Nurk'

Nurk is, well, Nurk. Standard plastic chaos marine with right arm from original box plague marines.

10. 'Plasma Paul'

This is one of the original box, but with a 'much harder than it first looked' plasma gun upgrade. I had to cut away most of the chest to make the arm fit.

11. 'The Masked Melta'

Mostly metal with alternative backpack.

12. 'Flayed Standard'

13. 'Sister brother'

He's been a bit confused since he stole a sisters of battle helmet. Metal and plastic.

14. 'The Champ'

A minor champion, all metal and mostly as he came out of the packet.

Nurgle Army #6 - Citadel 28mm Chaos Terminators

The shame. An unpainted unit :( . These five Terminators were given a coat of brown just to be used in a game, but there's still plenty of work to do on them. They're a WIP, but will have to wait as I'm not likely to be playing 40k for a while.

Nurgle army #5 - Citadel 28mm Plague Marines 01-07

I started this army a way back, in 2003/4. I'd been out of the hobby for some time. Eyesight issues had stopped me painting about 10 years before. So I painted a few models up again with daylight lamps and various forms of magnification.

After picking up some cheap plastic plague marines, I resolved to make my marines all different, a conversion on every miniature. That, I thought, would get my skills up to scratch again. So these are essentially early attempts from me, there's probably a fair bit I'd do different, were I to do it again.

Each marine that I finished got a number on his leg, starting with...

01. 'Turdhead'.

Body of cheapy plastic, with plastic chaos marine backpack and bolter. Green stuff and wire.

02. 'Ribhead'

A lot of green stuff, wire and Kroot bits. I think I went a bit OTT on this one :)

03. 'Blade Standard'.

He has blades and spikes from my bitz box, green stuff balls, Dixon miniatures Sashimono, and an old metal curved blade that I have no idea what it's from.

04. 'Skeletor'.

I wanted this army cheap, so this is a repurposed RTB01 marine with an old plastic skeleton head and a spear from a drastic plastic Orc. The bolter is from Dark Future, and the strap was given me by a mate. A Kroot pistol and a backpack from somewhere else.
All bits were from my box, so it essentially cost me nothing.

05. 'Grumpy'.

He's a metal heavy weapons guy with a different backpack and a blade strapped on his leg.

06. 'Still Healthy'.

Mostly plastic chaos marine with extra weapons.

07. 'TurdheadTwo'.

Green stuff, Kroot gun weapon, RTB01 bolter and cut off womble helmet.

Each squad has seven members, so expect 08-14, 15-21 and 22-28 soon.

Nurgle Army #4 - Citadel 28mm Plaguebearers

There's a mixture of old and new here. I have 22 Plaguebearers in all, which makes for three units of seven and a spare.
As you can see I have some multiples of the same miniature, so I painted them differently to keep the units varied.
