28mm Spartan Greek army WIP05 - more mercenaries

Another unit of Vendel Greeks painted and based for this army.

I think I'll be doing some archers or peltasts next, though I really should get on with the Spartans themselves.

Laserburn project WIP14 - prefab telecoms station and cars

So I've done some more work on the telecoms station from warbases...

I added plastic rod scaffolding to the surfaces of the building

Then I cut equal sized pieces out of this sheet of translucent plastic.

After this, I tidied p all the white borders on the panels, and drilled places for rivets. These were then filled with tiny balls from a Brita water filter.

There's still some work to do on this side, the pile of stuff by the door is going to be more 3d, with maybe a canopy.

ism... Is a fictional telecoms operator. I saw this building as something that is easy to erect for their purposes.

Also finished or nearly finished are most of these cars, which as you'll recall came from Kinder eggs. I wanted lots of vehicles to populate my streets - these were pretty easy to do, I still have several left that need a lick of paint though. A captain scarlet key ring crept in there too, as it's perfect scale wise. Here they are so far.

Razin WIP02 - breakage

Razin was used in a game. Someone dropped a metal dragon on him. I'm surprised only the sword broke, to be honest.

I'm hoping to use the copper wire in the pictures to reattach the sword.

Here's another of those 'not so giant after all' Orcs from Nick Lund's Chronicle miniatures.

Not sure why I gave this one human-like eyes - perhaps he's a half Orc.

The third of the black orcs. I think he stole that shield. This model has a metal base - he's just been rebased on a slotta to match the other orcs in the unit.

This chap is a rework of the standard trooper in Harboth's Black Mountain Boys.
