I suspect this is one of the paladins from the first citadel compendium. He's a fine looking knight, and has seen much tabletop action.

Citadel 25mm FF48 Desert nomad with sword
This chappie was painted to emulate the Bruce Pennington cover of Dune
- as such, he's meant to be a Fremen. I did some minor conversion work on his dagger to make it wavy - like a Crysknife from the books.

Citadel 25mm FF17 Minotaur
If you've been following my old miniature posts, a little note about the painting. Generally, the miniatures were painted at the time of their release. I was the main painter for GW Sheffield's figure cabinet, and again for GW Hammersmith when I took over there in 1986.
So some of the paintjobs aren't going to be up to today's standards. This particular one, though varnished, has obviously suffered along the way and he's looking a bit battered now.

Citadel 25mm FF50 Giant Scorpion
I remember spending ages trying to get this to look like this with my paintbrush.
This is from around 1981. ex-Sheffield display cabinet member.

Citadel 25mm C03 Clerics
Two examples of the range as pictured in the second citadel compendium. Members of the same order, these two.

Citadel 25mm C01 Fighter: Aldred Fellblade
Another nice Jes Goodwin sculpt, this model was part-painted until recently, when I finished him off at last.
This chap was also part of one of the many deals that Citadel did to support their scenarios for Warhammer (either Fantasy Role Play or 'Battle' as it was - the early versions of the rules were a skirmish wargame with personalities.) He was in "The Tragedy of McDeath" deal as Knight of Harkness
ToMcD was a boxed set for second edition Warhammer, and was released in 1986.

Citadel 25mm C06 Northern Dwarf with sword and shield
From 1984, one of the C06 'Northern Dwarf' range, he lived in the figure cabinet @ 95 The Moor, Sheffield for a while.
Citadel 25mm C01 Fighter with sword and torch
This model is shown in 1984's 'Second Citadel Compendium' as one of the C01 Fighter range. I've had so much use out of this 'slightly generic' figure over the years. He's one of my favourite early fighters.
