Minifigs 25mm VFW55/VFW56 Skeletons with spear/Skeleton with sword

1976 vintage skeletons from Minifigs' 'Valley of the four winds' range. The paint hasn't lasted on the spears, they're showing their age, but here they are, a unit of 5.

Minifigs 25mm 'Mythical Earth' miniatures

These really are ancient. Some of the first miniatures I ever bought. It was probably about 1976.

They're nothing both in stature and detail compared to today's work, but they were a start. I did have some more of these - I'm still in the process of sorting, so I'll post again if any come to light.

ME55 'Dwarf King and standard' flank a single ME3 from 'Strip of 2 dwarves'. These were sold in strips of multiple figures.  I broke a few knife blades on them as I recall. They're about 15mm tall.

At some point he got repainted in the same livery as the above dwarves to make up numbers in a unit for Chainmail

ME4 'Wizard' The staff was both enormous and fragile.

 To be honest lots of stuff broke off.

Which is why this ME1 'Man Orc with sword' hasn't got one at all. 

 An early bit of weapon replacement from the plucky young Greblord.

Citadel 25mm Chaos Snotling conversion

In our many games of the excellent Chaosium RPG Stormbringer, there was a constant need for new Demons. There were these bits lying around (broken Scorpion tail, Asgard Chaos helmet) and, y'know.

This was also one of a series of snotling based conversions that used to live in the Games Workshop figure cabinets at Sheffield and Hammersmith - back when it was fun ;)

Citadel 25mm EC05 Rakhir the Red

An ally of Elric, the colour scheme suggested itself. Lived in Hammersmith for some of its lifetime (1987-1990).

Citadel 25mm EC05 Dyvim Tvar

Another from the early Jes Goodwin Eternal Champion range. This one's Dyvim Tvar, a Dragon Master of Melnibone. Again, this lived in the cabinet at 1 Dalling road for some time.

I think I overdid the ol' albino on this one. Rodney Matthews is to blame for the colour scheme :) Another miniature that graced Games Workshop Hammersmith's cabinet.
